The only possibility to damage from a video game would be if the game were left on a single screen for too long, pause for example. LCD TV's, however, will not be damaged any more simple use. Other TV's such as older projection or even plasma's can burn images into the screen.

It will not cause damage if it is not done continually over a long period of time. After too long, it will affect any type of television.

Only if you leave the video game in a paused or static mode for a significantly long period of time, like 30 minutes or more depending on the LCD TV.

No, it is fine to play video games on an LCD TV. It will work just like any other image. However, if you leave the game paused, or if there are any static images on the screen for a long time, there is the risk of leaving an image "burned in. "

Under normal conditions no it does not. The tv that tend to get damaged are projection screens where an image will "burn" into the screen. This is caused by a image not moving for a long time on the screen.
