Does our system of justice put too much power in the hands of unelected officials?

The justice system does not put power in the hands of anybody. The executive branch does that with regard to "unelected officials. " Barack Obama's administration, with more than 70 unqualified, unexamined "czars" and other political favorites is a prime example of too much power being handed over to an unelected individual.

It is impossible to elect every official with power; a ballot for every police officer would be hundreds of pages long. Our system is a balancing act.
