Does our system of justice put too much power in the hands of elected officials?

Yes our system does. The officials have way to much power. They use it way too much. Our system is failing bad. Our rights are being stripped away and fast. It is hardly any justice at all because of the corrupt people in power. We soon will no longer have any rights.

This is a matter of opinion. Our system of government has checks and balances to prevent this, and fortunately our open system allows journalists and the public to stay on top of things- also the system of electing allows us to rid ourselves of officials we don't want.
