Kelp is rich in essential nutrients including Potassium, Calcium, and Iodine. Iodine, which in not often found in a daily diet, is a major component in the thyroid hormone and helps regulate an under active thyroid.
Kelp is plentiful in natural vitamins and minerals. Most people take kelp because of it's natural "whole body" strengthening properties and because it is easily absorbed. Kelp, which is found on the ocean floor, is capable of providing the body with more vitamins and minerals than food sources grown in the soil.
