If he listens to what you say, and remembers it, like if you talk about a stressful meeting you have coming up, he should indquire about it after.

Usually if you have to ask that question it's a sign that neither of you are effectively communicating. If he cares he won't hesitate to let you know this whether through spoken word or actions.

The best way to see if he cares is to test him on it. See if he's paying attention to things you say, how you feel, what you like. Guys need to be tested to see if you can trust them.

Often you can tell if a guy cares about you by the way he looks at you and how he responds when he perceives that you are in need of anything.
