Does getting your nose pierced hurt?

I've had my nose pierced and it's not very painful. It's quick and easy, although you may feel a slight pinch. Keep in mind that it might swell, and because it's exposed it's very susceptible to infection, so take good care of it once you do get your nose pierced.

It does hurt a bit, the piercing has to go through cartilage, so it will not be like getting your ears pierced. But if you have a high pain tolerance then you won't have a problem getting it.

It really doesn't hurt that bad. It's only a small needle. If you've gotten your ears pierced you can certainly do your nose as well. It's a very quick process! You can do it.

If you hate pain I would definitely steer clear of having your nose pierced. This would be a very painful process. If you have ever had a cold sore on your nose you realize how sensitive this area of your body is.

The pain all completely depends on your pain tolerance. Many think it doesn't hurt, but others think it is painful. For me, it felt like a burning feeling.

Yes, you can expect some pain. On a scale of 1 to 5, getting your nose pierced rates a 3, which is more painful that ear piercing which scores 1/5 but not a painful at nipple piercing, which scores 5/5.

I have a total of 9 facial piercings. Out of all of my piercings, the one that hurt the worst was my nose. I supposed it is because it is such a sensitive area. Honestly, it felt like someone punched me in the face!

the only way to explain it is by saying it feels like a release. its only going to hurt if you think its going to hurt. its really only a minor pain, think of accidently pricking yourself on the finger, that how it feels.

For me, getting my ears pierced hurt pretty badly but I've also known people who have very little problem with piercings. If you have a hard time with pain in general, it may hurt more than you'll want to deal with. Remember the ear lobe is fatty and the nose is thick cartilage so it will hurt more.

It hurts for a second, but then it will go away after a little bit.
