There are so many makers out there the better question is where can you find one. GE, Sanyo, and Sony just to name three make them. You can find them in your local pharmacy store and big box stores. You can also "Google" the item and find lots of choices on line.

Thereare several chinese companies that make these novelty devices, they are typically rebranded and sold at Wal-Mart, Target and Brookstone. You can usually find them in Novelty shops as well being sold as gag gifts. They are typically universal and they can be programmed to your television and any other electronics.
