A ShiTzu-Bichon mix is a good companion dog. They are not athletic or utilitarian. They love to be loved and to be the center of attention. They don't shed and don't eat a lot. They require regular grooming. So it depends on what you're looking for in a pet.

They are good house dogs, they will not make a good guard dog but have a playful temperament and are pretty good with kids and people in general. They can get a little yappy but discipline will help with that.

The Bichon in your dog will probably cause your dog to be quite calm. Sometimes Shih-tzu's are hyper but with the proper training your dog will be a wonderful pet. If you are up to taking care of a small dog who will need a lot of attention and you can afford it, it would be an excellent companion.

Yes, a shitzu and bichon mix can give a good pet as the shitzu and bichon are different breeds of dogs, where the shitzu dogs are very intelligent and the bichon breed dogs have soft curly hair. By mixing these two breeds of dogs they can give a good pet.

Yes. Both breeds have great tempermants and are very loyal. A mix would make a very protective dog, but loving and loyal.

yes, should be a very good natured lap dog. But a dog like that will need to be groomed every 8 weeks or so.

I have one and they are calm, playful dogs. they don't shed a lot. They have energy bursts. They don't bark a lot. And are very loving and cute dogs!
