Does a mix of a German Shepard and Rottweiler make a good pet?

This dog would make a good pet only if the owners were as energetic as these dogs themselves. This mix is not a lap dog or a dog that does well with the owner being gone all day.

Both Rottweilers and German Shepards are stubborn, sometimes aggressive dogs. Either breed requires a strong leader with the ability to correct bad behavior before it becomes a habit. All dogs are "good pets" when in the hands of the proper owner!

I have a registered pit bull and I had a rot any dog makes a good pet if they are raised in the proper environment dont use pull toys.

As with all pets, its a gamble. You never really know until you bring one home and learn your pets quirks. Generally speaking this kind of mix is a wonderful house pet. They are smart, strong, protective and loyal. Just make sure that your pets hips are ok as this is a problem in both breeds.
