No the maytag manual only tells you haw to install shelves and such. It will just say to call maytag and schedule an appointmets so they can fix it.

Yea,from the manual you can find the "Trouble shoot" option which will help you how to rectify the saultand how to resolve it.There will be each trouble shoot numbers (eg:- M1 or M2 or M12 like this)and each numbers will explain its reasons may be the Motor or Electronic Module or Timer etc..,then you go through this direction.
