A landlord has the right to sell. If the property is to continue as a rental, the new owner may wish to continue the relationship with the new tenants.

A landowner may sell their property at any time even when it is leased to a tenant and the new owner then becomes the legal owner of your lease.

Yes, the landlord can sell the property to another. However, in most states, your lease must either be honored or be allowed several months before eviction.
