This depends on the make of Citroen. Most have keys but there might be the occasional model which has a special combination such as thumbprint identification, screwdriver attachment or a coathanger type of door release device fitted as an after market additional extra. It would be best to stick with the known and trusted key rather than the latter.

Yes, these are laser cut keys which also involve a code that would be specific to a model or a car. There is also a new technology called electronic key which we may see in the future.
