Question by  GeorgeH (179)

Do you think those weight height charts are realistic?

Answer by  missy85 (178)

Weight height charts can be an effective way to determine approximately where your weight should be. Of course there are many variables that come into play, such as the fact that muscle does weigh more than fat. Typically though, the charts provide a healthy range and it is considered beneficial to stay within the range.

If you are talking about Body Mass Index charts, then yes, they are realistic and the recommended weight you need to be for your height.

Yes, those weight to height ratio charts are realistic for most people. Unless a person has a medically diagnosed reason for weighing more, they should not.
