I really like Malbecs from Mendoza. They're so supple and go well with any dish, not only beef. I tried Malbecs from South Western France and was not impressed. They seemed so thin and bitter compared to the Argentine variety.

Malbec comes in an array of styles ranging from juicy-fruity quaffers to refined wines of grace and elegance, to robust, potent wines suitable for steaks and game roasts. Cheers from Mendoza Wine Country ! add a comment
Absolutely. It is one of the better deals out there. The wines from Mendoza, Argentina are usually very well structured and have a pleasant fruit forward, leathery and sometimes charcoal note that pairs beautifully with grilled meats.
I absolutely love MAlbec wines from Mendoza, Argentina. Apart from being a bargain at prices sometimes below ten dollars, these wines are really nicely made. They're fruity, jammy and never too tannic, despite the dark colour.
