Johnnie Walker Red is a delicious blended Scotch Whiskey. It works great with soda and a tiny bit of ice. Too much ice dilutes the taste. It isn't too expensive so it can be a great choice for reasonably priced whiskey. Whiskey snobs should beware because it definitely isn't going to taste as good as higher quality whiskey.

Yes. It is a rather nice example of a blended Scotch whisky. Its a bit on the light side, but well made and available everywhere.

Johnny Walker Red is not my favorite, but it is okay as far as whiskeys go. Black label is definitely better among Johnny Walkers, and my personal preference is Jamison over all of them. Sure, it costs a bit more maybe, but it's Irish and I've been to the factory and I trust them.

Yes, Johnnie Walker Red is okay for the cheap end. You can get a green or blue for not much more though, and it tastes a lot better.
