Do you get deported if you commit a felony in the USA?

I need to know what is going to happen to my cousin.

Well this depends. If your cousin is a U. S. citizen there is no chance whatsoever he will be deported. Now if he is an illegal alien, it depends. Every state, county, and city is different. Some enforced tough laws when it comes to felonies, and others are more lineint.

epends on your status. If you're here illegally, you'll be deported (after you serve a sentence). If you're here legally, the current law is that if you can be sentenced to a year or more or commit a crime of moral turpitude, you'll be deported for the felony.
