Hard disk camcorders went out a long time ago. Most new models of camcorders have some sort of internal memory storage. Also they are expandable via flash memory. It is more conventional the have something that is expandable and not limited in size. You can find used ones in some classifieds.
Yes some have hard drives. There are also Blue-ray discs, flash memory cards, DVD discs, Digital 8 and Mini DV. Each one has its own strengths and weaknesses.
