Pretty much any newer style engine will have a radiator. It is essential for an large liquid cooled vehicle to have one to help dissipate the heat. Air cooled engines aren't very useful in a large vehicle applications.
Any type of large engine would probably need a good sized radiator to keep it cool. The only way it would need one is if it is air-cooled with is unlikely being inside a enclosed tanks shell.
