Starfish do have natural enemies. Rock crabs are among the predators that will kill and et them. Larger starfish will eat smaller ones. Wrasse, and triton snails are also predators.
Starfish can be a food source to crabs and seagulls. Sharks, bony fish and rays also seek out starfish for nourishment. The starfish is usually found in shallow waters so it is easy for them to be found for food.
