Do robomaids exist?

Whilst I am not aware of Robot maids in popular use. Robots are being introduced into UK hospitals to sort through patient prescriptions in a quick and efficient manner. They are also used by bomb disposal teams, as shown in the oscar winning film "The Hurt Locker". Whilst not traditional maids they are doing a service.

the only robotic maids i can think of is the roomba robot and its copycats. its a vacuum cleaner that finds and vacuums up dirt it senses, and can maneuver around furnature as well.
