The average fillings last for 8 to 10 years. If it doesn't hurt and is in place, you shouldn't need to replace it.

Fillings can last a lifetime, and it's perfectly safe to keep them if there are no problems. However, if there's chipping or cracks in the filling or tooth, that filling should be replaced before further problems develop in that tooth.

If it is not broke don't fix it. Leave your old fillings alone if they are not giving you any problems.

Your old fillings are probably fine, unless they are causing you pain, falling out, or moving around in your tooth. If you have one of these problems, consult your dentist.

The answer for your question is yes, since the tooth has to be replaced for having a good dental hygiene. It would be very good, the dental hygiene is used in a fully fledged way. Filling is necessary because the old filling might be deepened and pain would arise out it.
