Do low profile roof vents work as well as standard ones?

Yes they can if they have the same area of opening. You may need more low profile vent to do the same work as a standard vent.

If installed according to manufacturer's suggestions they will work equally. Make sure you match the CFM flows since the low profile hoods will be larger than a standard hood.

This depends on the region. For the most part, yes. However, be careful that snow/ice and leaves do not block the vents.

Low profile vents work just as well as other types of vents. It is important that they be installed per manufacturer's instructions. Make sure that the opening cut into the sheathing is wide enough to allow for proper air flow. The proper width for the opening is in the instructions.

No, since the low profile work will not exists for longer days and it is not a permanent work which can be kept for long number of days.

Yes, the low profile vents should work just fine with your current standard ones. All of you have to do is make sure that you are installing them correctly in the right place.
