Buying an outdoor RV box would be dependent on the amount of tools and things you want to bring with you. If the things you want to bring would easily fit in your RV, then you should not buy, but if you're bringing so much stuff, then you should consider buying one, but remember that it might be stolen.

it depends upon the amount of tools and things that you want to carry. it is easier for something to get stolen if it is on the outside of the rv.
