Well a map might be useful to find hidden areas but there is an in game map and mini map which should be plenty for all your racing needs.

Well it really depends on how you like to play. There is an in game map to help you navigate around the cities. However a map for all the hidden shops can help you progress through the game easier. I does take some of the fun out of exploring the level though.

No you don't need a map for this game. There's a map right in your screen menu for your use. You can see where's you're going, where are your missions and some important spot to look at. You don't need a paper map in order to play this game! hehe

Yes you do because you will get lost one the city. The map helps you locate the races you have.
