Do I have to pay unsecured credit cards?

Answer by  tamarawilhite (17883)

Yes, you are legally obligated to pay any debts on unsecured credit cards. They let you borrow the money on the expectation that you would pay them back. This is not free money. Not paying a debt can lead to a lawsuit and garnished wages.

Yes, you always have to pay unsecured credit cards. Not doing so will damage your credit score. You are still legally responsible for this debt.
