Not really. The clips that hold them onto your hair make a dent where they are pressing down, and the resulting curls don't look natural at all.

They do work as long as the warm enough. It is vital that they are heated prior to application otherwise they won't do anything for your hair. The curls will normally last until you wash your hair.
