Do all cells regenerate?

Answer by  kw35 (54)

No. There appear to be nerve cells in humans and other animals that do not regenerate. This is why damage to the brain and spinal cord can have such devastating effects. The damaged nerve cells cannot easily (if at all - there is a lot of research on this topic) regenerate new cells, causing problems for the individual.

No,all cells do not regenerate again. Only the cells which have food and in living environment can regenerate again in the body. Viruses are non-living outside the body. But they become living inside our body.
