No, absolutely not. The plot is absolutely bad. How can somebody believe in a dog-robot, or robot-dog? Is not even good for children because the plot considered them retarded. Probably with the new animation technologies a better movie can be done based on the original script

I did not. I'm very far from a fan of animal movies. Although this wasn't one of the more annoying talking animal movies of the 90's and early 2000's it was still annoying. You have to ask how Hollywood would produce a film about a robotic dog especially at that time.

i loved this movie as a child, an inventor creates the Canine HOMe Protection System (CHOMPS)who resembles an ordinary dog. The idea of a crime fighting dog is classic. the bad guys were no match for this unique dog with its super strength, x ray vision and crime detection.

I personally did not like this movie. It is your typical Disney movie with a cute dog in it. But if you have kids, maybe they could stand it.
