Elvis did have a drug addiction, but that addiction was not LSD. The singer had an inordinate fondness for prescription medications and his' autopsy revealed at least ten of these in his system. Some of his favorites were Ritalin, Dexedrine, and Dilaud, but no lysergic acid diethylamide.

Elvis took LSD on a regular basis. Singing the "Battle Hymn of the Republic" to champagne-colored-hair women while wearing rhinestone jumpsuits and big silver sunglasses and still thinking he's the King Of Rock 'n' Roll? He was taking two, maybe three tabs a week.
