First tally up your short range and long range costs such as your time, your cleaning supplies, your transportation, your business management (taxes, etc. ), and wear and tear on equipment. Your cost has to account for these expenses. Then call around to various cleaning services and find out how they are charging. That is the ballpark for you.

The best thing to do when starting a business is to call other businesses in the field and ask for rates. Go a little lower than the average to start.

Cleaning a house or business can be hard work, but there are many opportunities available for a person who cleans. It's important to charge a basic rate that will make you happy, but have a premium rate for difficult cleaning chores.

Find other providers in your area; make sure your charge takes care of your supplies, time, and gas and then add profit.
