There are a number of products on the market that will seal ceramic tile. However, the glazed surface of ceramic tile its self is an impermiable surface and application of sealants to its surface can cuase a discoloration of the tile itself. Seal the grout, not the tile.

Yes. You need the varnish to seal the tiles before you can use them. Two coats of a water-based floor varnish are recommended, letting the tile dry between coats.

No, ceramic is a glazed product. It has no pores and would not allow the varnish to adhere the the surface

Typically ceramic tile come already sealed. Varnish is designed to be applied to a porous surface like wood. If you have put it on tile it probably wont stick.

You can not varnish the tiles. They are sealed with a glaze. The glazing process seals all the pores. This will not allow the varnish to adhere.
