As long as the vehicle in question has a tow hitch on the back, you can use it to tow a camper. Hypothetically, if you through a hitch on a neon you could tow a trailer. The Xterra, unlike the neon, definitely holds the power to tow a camper. There should be no issue.

it all depends on the tow package as well as the torque. With the proper tow package and horsepower the xterra should handle the camper fine though depending on weight.

As long as the weight or the camper is within the tow capacity of the vehicle. Consult the owners manual to see how much your car is weight it is rated for. As long as it isn't too heavy and you have the proper hitch you should be fine.

It depends on the Specific Xterra and the weight of the camper. Check in your owners manual to find tow specs. Check camper weight. Good to go.
