Please contact your vet immediately! The causes could range from kidney stones, to infection or blockage. Is your cat eating and drinking? If not, it may be dehydrated. See a vet a. s. a. p!

If your cat cannot urinate it will be in pain and needs vet attention immediately. If it has not passed stool in the past 24 hours, try feeding it canned fish in oil or mix some cooking oil in it's food but if that does not work within in a couple of hours take the cat to a vet.

If your cat hasn't gone to the bathroom in a while that can be a major issure and you should probably go the vet to make sure its not conspatated.

If it has only been a short while, you might try feeding the cat some wet food. Sometimes that will move on along in the bowels. However, if it has been several days, you need to take your cat to the vet immediately. It is possible that there could be some kind of blockage in the intestines.
