Turn ignition to start position three times, third time leave ignition on and hit lock button on remote until doors lock and unlock. Hit every other button until it works.

You can program the controller usually only by taking it to the dealer. There are some after market ones that will allow you to capture the sequence code by clicking the buttons on the old remote near the new one but this does not work on all of them.

You can not program the remote to open a Blazer without a computer from the dealer. You will need to take the remote as well as the vehicle to the dealer to have them program the new or replacement remote. They usually charge around $100 for this service and it usually only takes a few minutes.
