Can you tell me how to identify a Saturn VIN?

The vin on all cars 1970 and newer is located in the lower corner of the windshield on the drivers side of the car. The VIN is unique to every vehicle.

If the vin belongs to a Saturn it will have the number 8 in the second spot in the vin.

Yes, you need to look on the inside of the dashboard near the bottom of the windshield. It will be on a small metal strip with a 16-digit series of numbers and letters stamped in it. The series will usually have a telltale "VIN" before the 16-digit string of characters.
