Can you tell me how to find out the taxes on a house?

Every taxes that is owned on a house will be recorded at the county assessement tax office. Just fill out the proper paperwork and you may have to pay a small fee to get the information. Also if you have access to the tax summary that is sent to each household each year you may have it that way/

Town hall (tax assessor's or tax collector office) should have all property in the town listed. As a matter of public record, you can either search the records yourself or request the clerk to research the property and give you the information. This info might also be available online.

If you are looking for the property taxes, you should be able to contact your county treasurer for that information. Many can look up with just the address. Some localities have that information available online.
