For starters you're going to need to locate the desired part. Refer to your car manual, it'll contain the schematic you need to locate any part. Another option: mechanical consultation.

Open cap, remove the fuel line from carburetor, aim fuel line into an approved container and open petcock. Or you can remove the petcock altogether but this procedure is much messier.

Typically your bike should have a specific valve located under the tank for doing this. All you need to do is pull the line running from the tank to the carburetors and run it in a catch can. Then turn the valve to prime and all of it should drain.

Turn your petcock to the off position. Unhook the gas line from the carborateor. One you unhook the gas line from the tank, you will get an old coffe can or other bowl that you don't need and place the line into the container. Make sure the gas cap is off and drain the gas into the container.
