Yes you can. The VIN, or vehicle identification number, has all the vehicles information. It tells the manufacturer, model, where and when it was manufactured, even what engine the vehicle has in.

Typically yeas you can tell what make, model, year, etc.. of a vehicle is by decoding the vin number. Usually you can search with the vin number to find out what kind of vehicle it belongs to. Then you can also look up a guide for decoding the rest of the vin to find out more about it.
