No. City water has additives, such as chlorine, that will kill your fish. You need to use water treatment or distilled water.

Yes you can. As long as the water in the pond is not too dirty then the fish will be fine.

yes, the rule of thumb is to allow the water to just sit overnight. this somehow takes away alot of the flouride and what not that is in city water. I have always used city water for my fish and never had issues with them. Just make sure to set the water out!

Yes! Be sure to use de-chlorinator to remove the chemicals before you add fish. Otherwise, you can wait at least 24 hours to let the chemicals evaporate.

Find out how safe your city water is. Some of the water from a few cities is high in chemicals that will affect the fish you put into the pond. Most of the time it isn't an issue but you will want to ensure the fish will be happy and healthy.

Yes, but city water contains chlorine, which is harmful to fish in large concentrations. It evaporates out of water over a day or two, so you can draw water into buckets and "age" it before putting it in the pond.
