These provide nice rich deep tones. but for price there are equal or better strings available. these are non coated so do not wear as long nor are they as durable as coated strings. Nice tones though, not super exceptional though

I've used DR strings once or twice and been happy with them, they're a well made, good quality string but Charlie Stringer's Tube Toned Blues strings were my favorites. When they were no longer available, after Charlie died, I tried several brands before discovering GHS Boomers which are my new favorite.

DR makes great hand-wound strings. I have used their strings for over ten years and have not found any better. I have not tried their Pure Blues guitar strings, as it doesn't fit my style, but if blues is your style I imagine these would be perfect.

DR Pure Blues strings are typically well rated by guitarists. They are made with pure nickel wraped-wire and are known for there great sustain and vintage low tones. Because they are wound with pure nickel, the strings have a punchiness that you wouldn't normally expect from vintage strings.
