Can you plant jasmine with cuttings?

I love how it smells and would like to have more in my yard.

Yes, you can. Use sterilized soil for best results. Strip the bottom leaves from your cuttings and place them gently in the soil. Keep them warm and hydrated.

Jasmine can be hard in this way. I personally have had trouble replanting it from cuttings although i have succeeded a few times, i found it difficult.

Jasmine can be planted from cuttings, but it can be a "hit or miss" process. It is best to use cuttings after the plant has already flowered.

Yes, easily. The most important thing is to make sure your potting medium is sterile. I like vermiculite. Make a cutting and remove the bottom leaves leaving several nodes exposed. Wet your potting soil or vermiculite. Dip the cutting in rooting powder (found in garden centers) and gently push them into your moist potting medium. Place in a warm area.

Snipping off a few strong vine ends like Jasmine and cutting them with a sharp angle will produce stong plants for the following year. Remove the base leaves, dip the end in a 1% Soft Wood Rooting Stimulant and plant in clay pots with sterile dirt.
