Boric acid works for small ants, mix it with something sugarry like jelly or they like cook aid. boric acid is great for many things pinkeye, eye infections in animals, yeast infections, etc. Also if you sprinkle borax on you lawn and wet it, it will kill off fleas and other pests and keep them from entering your house.

Boric acid is used to kill ants and other insects. It also has use in medicine, such as acne treatment because it has anti-bacterial properties. It can be used in pyrotechnics.
