Can you help me with vectors in math problems?

To add them, add the specific components separately, i.e. 4i+5j+6k added to 1i+2j+7k is (4+1)i+(5+2)j+(6+7)k. Add the inverse of the vector for subtraction. There are two forms of vector multiplication. The dot product requires you to multiply the specific components separately. The cross product requires you to make a matrix.

Sure. Vectors are described in two ways, either by a magnitude (size) and direction (usually an angle), or in terms of components (numbers) that describe the projection (shadow) of the vector on the x, y axes. If V is the vector whose size is |V|, making an angle A with the positive x direction, then Vx= |V| cos A and Vy= |V| sin A

A vector has both direction and magnitude. It may be a position vector, giving coordinates for a location in the plane or in space, or a direction vector, giving direction.
