I can help you to troubleshoot a DVD player, if you tell me what sort of problem(s) you are having with it. Without knowing your problem, I'm afraid I can't be of any assistance. A common fix for DVD's that won't play includes making sure the disc you are trying to play is clean.

If you get no picture you should make sure the TV is set to the input so the DVD player shows up, if it says no disc, you should check to make sure the disc is seated properly. To troubleshoot i need to know the exact problem.

Sure, but you need to be more specific about what the issue is. First make sure your DVD player is plugged into power. Does the power light turn on?

You need to find out the problem. Ince you find out the problem you can then find a list of possible solutions on the troubleshooting page of your dvd owners manual.

Your best bet would be to look through the manual for your DVD player. If you don't have it, check online. There are usually troubleshooting charts in them.
