Can you help me troubleshoot my ac?

I need help troubleshooting my ac.

The first step, regardless of make and model is to check your filter. Often, when they are not replaced as recommended; they can clog the unit and areas surrounding the entrance. Replace and clean around the entrance. If this does not solve the problem, reset the breaker on the fuse box, wait about one minute and reset the unit.

find out if it is cooling. if it is not cooling, it could be due to lack of freon. if it is not blowing it could be because of the fan motor. have a service company look at it.

The first thing I would do is make sure the air filters are clean. They should be replaced at least once a year.

If there is a lot of noise coming from your air conditioning unit, there may be a problem with its indoor coil, or your duct system may be too small. You may want to contact a local HVAC specialist to perform some in-depth central air conditioning troubleshooting.

If your air conditioning system is no longer that cool, maybe it is low on refrigerant as cause by some leakage in your system. If it is the former, then it would be not much of a problem. If it is the latter, you need an AC specialist for it.
