Can you help me troubleshoot a HP printer?

Try turning the printer on and off. It could be hardware or software, make sure your drivers are properly updated. If it still doesn't work then it is hardware.

You need to see if it's a printer problem, computer problem or connectivity by eliminating each of them. Check the cables - AC adaptor and USB, then try restarting computer or reinstalling printer in different USB port. If none works, you might have to get professional help.

HP printers are generally very good quality and do not often have these types of problems. Check to make sure that your printer settings are set on your current printer.

I'd call HP they have specialists trained to help you out. Without knowing what you were doing when it happened it is hard to say what the issue would be.
