Distance when giving the deer call is key. You may have your stand in the perfect spot, but moving to strategic places makes sure your calls will moce them into the direction you desire.
First be quiet, if staking out deer trails, you want to always look for an intersection, and sit about 20 yards off of that, be patient; Learned from my grandfather.
