The HP Pavilion dv2000 Series is compact, light and has a beautiful high-gloss finish. Even though it is small it has a superb LCD screen and is very comfortable to use. A Webcam is built into the lid of the notebook. It has touch-sensitive buttons and the entire look of the notebook is stylish and professional.

Well it is certainly a powerful notebook with 2.0 GHz, It should make a good home computer or a good back to school computer. Its lifespan should be about three years but be prepared for it to start deteriorating.

Since you can have the HP Pavilion dv 2000 with several processor versions, it is a big difference which processor you choose. With Sempron or Turion battery life is short.
