Where can I get a replacement power cord for an HP Pavilion laptop?

You can look up your specific model number straight off HP's website or you might be able to find one cheaper from the likes of eBay or Craigslist. The first option would be the easiest. You might even be able to get a discount for it as well using the internet sites.

You can either contact HP directly online, or you can purchase them through a good electronics store. I would not recommend going to an auction site though, the cord you get there may be used and won't last as long, even if they are cheaper.
