The military would be reluctant to take a person with such a condition due to the reduction in combat effectiveness. All services require a physical before entering active duty, this is a disqualifying factor. You could however get a waiver from the recruiter but you would most likely have to go into the Airforce or Navy.

There are many degrees of scoliosis. If your physician approves, you can start the enlistment process, which will include a physical examination by a physician at the MEPS, which is required of all candidates. The MEPS doctor will make the final call. You may need a waiver.

The U.S. military has previously enlisted people with asymptomatic mild scoliosis cases. An applicant has a responsibility to disclose any pre-existing medical conditions on recruitment applications and to the recruiter.

Enlistment will be rejected if the scoliosis is in the order of the following limits:lumbar scoliosis greater than 20 degrees and thoracic scoliosis greater than 30 degrees.

Yes. It depends on how desperate the Army is and how bad the scoliosis is. As a general rule though, I'm pretty sure they don't allow people with scoliosis to enlist. However, I've seen exceptions to just about every rule.
